Golden Beach State Campground

Located on the south shore of beautiful Raquette Lake, DEC's Golden Beach Campground offers 205 tent and trailer sites, picnic area with tables and fireplaces, flush toilets, hot showers, trailer dump station, recycling center, mobility impaired accessibility, sand beach, swimming area, bathhouse, and hiking trails.

Campground information

Pets are allowed with proof of a currently valid rabies vaccination in the form of a current year's tag or a certificate issued by the veterinarian. Campers can walk dogs on a leash no longer than six feet as long as the animal is under control. Dogs cannot be left unattended and are not allowed in facility structures, on the beach, or in day-use areas

Motorboats, rowboats, and canoes are allowed on Raquette Lake. There is a boat launch at the campground, but it is shallow and may be unusable for larger boats. A hardtop launch can be found in the hamlet of Raquette Lake. 

Within 2 miles of campground there are: boat rentals, restaurants, and a convenient store.
