Sacandaga Lake (not to be confused with Great Sacandaga Lake) and Lake Pleasant are connected by a channel. There are good populations of brown and rainbow trout in both waters, thanks to liberal stocking.
Puffer Pond is a fine wilderness pond to fish. It's a bit of a hike to reach, but well worth the miles traveled.
