All who show up on this day will be offered a free t-shirt. Some towns also are able to provide lunch - please check with your local organizer. If you wish to help clean, you can sign up in advance (this helps guarantee a shirt for you) or show up on the day of. Each town will have their own instructions about where to pick up your shirts, where to find supplies (trash bags, gloves, water, etc.), what to do with the trash after you pick it up, and where to gather for lunch, if it is being provided.

Community Pride Day 2023 Shirt Design Contest
This contest was open to all ninth grade students attending Town of Webb UFSD, Long Lake CSD, Indian Lake CSD, Lake Pleasant CSD and Wells CSD.
Want to see your design be a part of this year’s Community Pride Day? Your challenge is to create a design/logo that illustrates what community pride means to you. One lucky winner will have their design on the 2023 Community Pride Day shirts given to the student volunteers who will help clean up the streets on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Eligibility: The contest is open to all ninth grade students in the following schools: Town of Webb UFSD, Long Lake CSD, Indian Lake CSD, Lake Pleasant CSD and Wells CSD.
Contest period: Deadline to enter is February 17, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. The Community Pride Day committee will recruit judges who will appraise the designs based on creativity and originality. The judges will narrow the entries down to a few finalists. The finalists’ designs will be posted on Inlet’s Facebook Page for public voting. www.facebook.com/inletny The voting will run from February 24 to March 24, 2023. One design will be deemed a winner based on the highest vote count. The winner will be announced on March 24, 2023.
Guidelines: Entries must be smaller than 15MB in size. The design must not exceed 8 ½” x 11”. Design will be printed in one color. T-shirt designs work best when you use simple, iconic imagery and strong, clear lines/edges rather than literal interpretations (i.e. shading, photo images, etc.). All submissions are suggested to be in vector PDF or .EPS format.
How to enter: Entries must be emailed to info@inletny.com. Please state your name, your phone number and the school you attend in the email. Design must not violate copyright laws. Any use of any photo, drawing, images or elements created by any other person is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification. By submitting an entry, contestant acknowledges that his/her entry may be posted on www.InletNY.com and on www.facebook.com/inletny
