Friends of the Lake Pleasant Library
The Friends of the Lake Pleasant Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and strengthening the Lake Pleasant Public Library. We are neighbors, readers, families, and friends who share a deep love for this area and for the library that serves as its heart.
Our mission is to promote library use and provide financial support for library programs, services, and special initiatives that enhance the experience for our entire community. Through fundraising events, volunteer efforts, and advocacy, we help ensure that the Lake Pleasant Public Library remains a vibrant, welcoming place for people of all ages.
Throughout the year, we host book sales, tricky trays, and other special events that bring the community together while raising funds that directly benefit the library. These events not only support important programs and services but also celebrate the spirit of connection and generosity that makes Lake Pleasant and Speculator such a special place.
You can support the Friends of the Lake Pleasant Library by becoming a member. Membership is open to anyone who loves books, values lifelong learning, and wants to see our local library flourish.
