The Speculator Area is known far and wide for its amazing seasonal events!
Some of our area events are hosted by our Chamber of Commerce and some are hosted by Local Organizations made up of extremely committed volunteers!
From the area Farmer's Market, 4th of July Celebration, AppleFest, Bear and Wine Festival, Oaktoberfest, the annual TWIGS Craft fair and beyond, our area events sure do shine!

NYS Free Snowmobile Weekends
Mark your calendars! Each year, the first weekend of March is designated as a Free Snowmobile Weekend. During this period, out-of-state and Canadian snowmobilers can hit New York’s trails for free—no NYS registration required. As long as your sled is properly registered and insured in your home state or province, you’re good to go!
