This charming (with a touch of rustic) 360-square-foot, two-room suite in the heart of the village is on the ground floor of a 1917 Craftsman home. It is perfect for two! Includes thick memory foam mattress with luxury sheets, kitchenette, and high speed WIFI (downloads 21.7mps, uploads 17.4mps). There are six good eateries within 3/10s of a mile, including a craft brewery. Roku and Amazon Prime 42-inch TV.
The space
This suite was my husband's 2-room real estate office in our 1917 Craftsman home. The large front room with bed, sitting area, and TV is airy and bright. A powder room and a separate shower/dressing room/closet are at one end. A smaller room has an eating area at one end and a kitchenette at the other with a counter and a desk. Since Airbnb has no category for a suite or room, it landed under bed and breakfast. Bed yes, breakfast no!
Guest access
Guests have access to their own two-room suite as well as a large front porch, front yard, and an enclosed side yard with a 'secret garden.' There is plenty of parking behind the house, but guests are asked not to tarry there as a long-time tenant has an apartment accessed from the back. Past the parking area is a small wood with a fire pit, path, and hammock.
Other things to note
During winter there is downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and easy access to over 750 miles of snowmobile trails in Hamilton County alone.
Spring brings maple syrup making, golf 4 miles away and whitewater rafting just 23 miles away!
Summer is all about the woods and waters... boating, swimming, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking...
Fall brings brilliant color, with the peak generally being the last week of September and the first week of October.
