The ASRCC strives to unite industry, education, retail, healthcare, church, city, history, service, tourism and county together in a cohesive unit for the betterment of our community. Together, we continue to make a difference in the Speculator Region.

Your membership earns the support of our small paid staff that works full-time for you and your fellow members. We rely on the financial support of our members to develop and complete projects and programs.

High visibility and advertising value is offered to members who sponsor a Chamber event. As an event sponsor, your name is prominently displayed and promoted. Business Advocacy
The Chamber is your voice in governmental affairs and tracks local, regional, and federal issues that affect your business.

Business Cards/Brochures/Menus
All members are welcome to display their marketing materials at the Chamber office. We will place your business cards, brochures and menus in the provided racks for the availability to visitors and residents alike. If you don’t have a brochure or menu, we’ll make one for you!

Business Contacts
Through the many ASRCC activities and programs, you will meet potential customers and clients.

Chamber Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are sold by the Chamber at the Chamber office, and are redeemable only at participating Speculator Region Chamber member businesses. They can be used like cash, but are not redeemable as cash at any bank or business. A listing of participating merchants accompanies each gift certificate. If a certificate is used at your business, simply treat it as a cash transaction and then bring the certificate to the Chamber office for redemption at face value.

Chamber Gift Certificates provide a unique community-wide, multi-store gift certificate instead of the traditional one-store certificate. It also encourages people to shop locally instead of going out of town. In addition, the program provides an avenue where businesses and organizations can give away local certificates for attendance awards, safety awards, bonuses, birthdays, donated door prizes, and so on.

Our gift certificates have several benefits. They keep money circulating in our community; they promote our Chamber of Commerce businesses; they’re the perfect gift when you aren’t sure what to give someone; and most of all they’re one more reason to be a member of the Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce!

Chamber Website
Members have a unique opportunity to advertise throughout the Chamber website. Have a customized ad created for your business or supply your own and have it placed on the top of one or more pages that best match the nature of your business.

Expand your free directory listing with a page devoted entirely to YOUR business. Perfect for businesses who do not have a website. Your enhanced business listing can include more information about your business, a detailed list of your services or offerings, a link to your e-mail and website, your logo and a photo.

Committees
Membership on any committee or special event is open to all Chamber members. The Chamber Board and staff are always open to new ideas, new events and new assistance.

Community Directory
The directory is published by the Chamber office and is distributed to hundreds of individuals and businesses throughout the year. Your membership allows a free listing in the directory.

Dining and Lodging Guides
Only Chamber members are included in these print and website guides that are provided to hundreds of visitors each year. Your membership ensures these visitors are referred to your business.

Direct Member Referral
The Chamber is the first place consumers and businesses call to ask for a referral to a reputable company; we recommend only Chamber members. Members can always be assured that the Chamber staff will promote Chamber members when an inquiry is received.

Health Insurance Program
The Chamber offers business members the opportunity to obtain group health and dental insurance from our associate The North Country Plattsburgh Chamber.

Mailing List
As a Chamber member, you have the opportunity to market your products and services directly to Chamber members by obtaining a free mailing list of the general membership. A complete listing is also available on laser labels for a nominal fee. These mailing lists are available to Chamber members only.

Member Plaque
Each member receives a free ASRCC membership plaque to proudly display their community support and involvement.

Membership Dinners
Held once a year, this event offers you the opportunity to exchange business cards, network, and socialize with other Chamber members.

Newsletter
Chamber News is a 3x yearly publication sent to all members featuring upcoming events, lists of new members, and reports on important issues affecting businesses and individuals in the Speculator Region. Members may also submit information or articles for possible publication that may be useful or beneficial to fellow Chamber members. This publication also offers advertising opportunities. Office Services
Our office personnel are available to assist you with your advertising and marketing efforts. Need a special event flyer or brochure? Let our staff design it for you. Faxing, photocopying, and printing services are also available to members at a discounted rate.

Online Business Directory
Exclusive to members only, this online directory which is accessible on the Chamber website is updated as needed. Your membership includes a listing in the directory with free links to your website.

Snowmobile Trail Map
The Chamber produces an annual local snowmobile trail map on which advertising space is available for only Chamber members.
